How long does an amicable divorce take to finalize in the state of Oregon?

Katie asked:

Hi Everyone,

If one were to file for an amicable divorce in the state of Oregon, how long does it take for the divorce to finalize? Also, would one have to file for separation before filing for divorce in Oregon? Anything helps!

Thanks!

It can be as fast as a few months, or take years. It all depends on you, your future ex, and the courts.

An amicable or uncontested divorce is after the state of oregon has 90day mandatory waiting period what this means is after the state of filing before you will become legally divorced.
The state of filing before you need to wait 90 days after all the state of filing before you need to wait 90 days.
